Cedric Devontaye Ferguson Jr., 14, was born in Iredell County on October 16, 2009, to Cedric Devontaye Ferguson Sr. and Chasity Nicole Parks. He departed this life unexpectedly on January 28, 2024, at Iredell Memorial Hospital.

Cedric was a student at East Iredell Middle School and was affectionately know as “Ced” by his family and friends. Cedric loved football, basketball and playing video games.

Celebration of Life Services will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at Holsey Memorial CME Church at 2 p.m. Visitation will be from 1 to  2 p.m. at the church. Reverend Barbara McCullum will be officiating and Reverend Jeffery Daniels will deliver the eulogy. Burial will follow in the Belmont Cemetery.
