Charles “Chuck” Alan Brown, 66, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2024, at his residence.

He was born on June 9, 1958, in Iredell County, N.C., to the late Vernon “Babe” and Mary Buford Brown. Chuck was a very hard-working man and had done masonry since he was 15. He was a good cook and a natural clean freak. He picked up the musical trait from the family, playing the guitar, singing karaoke, and being an Elvis impersonator. Chuck loved and was close to Jesus and brought laughter and joy to everyone.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Vickie Brown; and brothers, Gary Brown and Rickie Brown.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda Brown; daughters, Clarica Brown and Anna Brown; sisters, Martha Ann Robertson and Janice Brown Dean; grandchildren, Jordin Cox, Hallie Sronce, Landin Sronce, and Luke Friend; beloved niece, Christina Hill; and numerous other nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held on Saturday, November 9, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home.
