Mr. Charles Eugene Williams, 80, of 128 Rowan Mill Road, Salisbury, N.C., was born in Warren, Ohio, on Mach 5, 1944, and was the son of the late Garrett Williams and Lela Maude Thomas. He departed this life unexpectedly on Saturday, August 8, 2024, at his home.

He was employed as an assembly worker at the Steele Foundry and served with the United States Army and was honorably discharged. He was united in marriage to Althea Williams Williams, who preceded him in death. He was a loving and devoted father, grandfather and friend.

Celebration of Life Services will be conducted Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at Rutledge and Bigham Funeral Home, 603 South Center Street, Statesville, N.C.
