Mr. Charlie James Wright Jr., 65, was born in Dublin, Ga., on September 16, 1959, to the late Charlie James Wright Sr. and Rosa Lee Edmond Wright. He departed this life on Friday, February 2, 2024, in Leesburg, Fla.

Charlie attended school in Georgia and later worked as a general laborer for the City of Clarksdale. At one time, he was also self-employed as an automotive mechanic, specializing in bodywork.

He leaves to cherish the memory of her life a son, Charlie James Wright III of Tacoma, Wash.; one daughter, Ondvanesha Nicole Wright of Tacoma, Wash.; one brother, Derrick Bernado Wright of Valrico, Fla.; and three sisters, Delecia Wright of Statesville, N.C., Rena Sharlette Wright Jackson of Charlotte, N.C., and Regina Paulette Wright of Florida. Other relatives include, Essie (William) Harris of Cleveland, Ohio, Marshall Edmond of Euclid Heights, Ohio, Joseph Edmond of Douglas, Ga., Sandra Edmond of Cleveland Heights, Ohio, Paul Carpenter of Cleveland, Ohio, Mary (Irvin) Walker of Marietta, Ga., and Marshall Wright of Macon, Ga.; special friends, Devine Ministry, Pastor Tewanna Myers, and members, family, and friends; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins in Florida and Cleveland, Texas, other relatives, and friends.
