Danny Ray Woolsey, 77, passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, in Winston-Salem, N.C. He was born on July 18, 1946, in Ray County, Mo., to the late Floyd Raymond Woolsey and Ruby McRorey Woolsey.

Danny was a member of Holmeswood Baptist Church in Kansas City, Mo., and was also a member of the North Kansas City Optimist Club.

He is survived by his wife Linda Woolsey; son, Taggart Wayne Woolsey of Springfield, Mo.; daughters, Dannele Marie Vasquez of Omaha, Neb., Talia Elizabeth Pritchard of Rogersville, Mo., Tonia Lynne Barnes of Springfield, Mo.; and Sarah Kay Woolsey of Winston-Salem, N.C.; 10 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; brother, Bill Woolsey of Kansas City, Mo.; stepson, Jerry Wayne Saddler Jr. of Glade Valley, N.C.; stepdaughter, Christine Lynn Sidden of Glade Valley, N.C.; and four step grandchildren.

A memorial service for Danny will be held on Saturday, January, 27, 2024, from 2 until 4 p.m. at Bunch-Johnson Funeral Home in Statesville, N.C.
