David Edward McCorkle, 3-month-old infant son of Elzora Berryman and Jacinta Marie McCorkle, was born in Mecklenburg County on August 7, 2024. He passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2024.

He leaves to cherish his memories his parents, Elzora Berryman and Jacinta McCorkle; grandmother/caretaker, Felicia McCorkle; great grandmother/caretaker, Maria Wilson; brothers, Samuel Berryman and Isaiah Jackson; sisters, Monica Wilson, Destiny Berryman and Octavia Berryman; aunt, Amber McCorckle; god mother, Lorraine Deshields; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Celebration of Life Services will be conducted Friday, December 6, 2024, at 1 p.m. at Rutledge and Bigham Funeral Home. Members of the family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12 until 1 p.m., but will assemble at the residence at 121 Graylin Loop, Apartment 201, Statesville, N.C., at other times.
