Deanna Stallings Gabriel, 85, of Mooresville, N.C., went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 25, 2024. She was born on November 25, 1939, in Mooresville to the late Mex Laverne Stallings and Ellie Sigmon Stallings.

Deanna loved the Lord with all her heart. She always said she loved the Lord more than anything or anyone else, including her family. Deanna enjoyed going to the beach with her husband in their convertible with the top down. Her greatest joy was her family. She will be greatly missed.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert Eugene Gabriel; and sisters, Janette Jacobs, and Sylvia Knox.

Those left to cherish Deanna’s memory are her sons, Cory Eugene Gabriel (Debbie) and Patrick Wilson Gabriel; grandchildren, Matthew R. Gabriel, Sara Gabriel Barrier (Kory), Tyler Wilson Gabriel, and Ryan Patrick Gabriel; and great grandchildren, Brooklyn Barrier, Ryder Barrier, Crue Gabirel, and Gemma Gabriel.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 2, 2025, at Glenwood Memorial Park, Mooresville.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to S. Mitchell Mack Hospice House, 1325 Mecklenburg Hwy., Mooresville, NC 28115.
