Delcie Workman Bryant, 86, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at Autumn Care of Cornelius.

She was born on August 5, 1937, in Raleigh County, W.Va., to the late Raymond and Stella Stover Workman. Mrs. Bryant was retired from Burlington Industries.

She is survived by her husband, Alfred Bryant; children, Mitchell Bryant and wife Lynn, and Deanna Deaton and husband James; honorary daughter, Krissy Bailey; sisters, Carol Crenshaw, Shelba Stockdale and husband Tom, Sandy Gilmore and husband Mark; brother, Terry Workman; grandchildren, Eddie, Autumn, Chevy, Bear, Clint, Kameron, and Asia; 14 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 18, from 10 to 11 a.m. with a service following at 11 a.m. at the chapel of Cavin-Cook Funeral Home with Chaplain Eddie Karriker officiating. Burial will follow the service at Glenwood Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
