Dustin Kyle “Dusty” Pope, 35, of Statesville, N.C., died Thursday, May 23, 2024, doing what he loved best, riding his motorcycle.
Born in Iredell County on June 29, 1988, he was a son of David Peter Pope and the late Debra Lynn Freeman Pope.
He loved riding his motorcycle, and loved his kids and family, along with his club brothers of Original Road Rollers MC. He also loved playing pool and shooting guns.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Amber Pope; sons, Caleb Gilmartin, Dalton Gilmartin and Noah Pope; and daughters, Madilyn and Zoey Pope; father and stepmother, Rita Pope; sisters, Lisa Fleming (Kel Allison) and Michelle Ladd; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Frank and Rebecca Macera; a sister-in-law, Natasha Picklesimer (Christopher); a brother-in-law, Brent Bennett; four nieces, Albree, Alydia, Paisley and Kadence; and two nephews, Waylon and Charles.
A Private Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
