Edward Paul Vozzella, 71, of Sylva, N.C., passed away on Friday, October 25, 2024, in Charlotte, N.C. Born on October 18, 1953, in Middlesex County, Mass., he was the husband of Sara Ross Vozzella and the son of the late James Michael and Eleanor Thomas Vozzella.
Edward worked extensively throughout the nation as a renowned chef in the hospitality industry. He enjoyed cooking, traveling, and gardening, and he was known to be very knowledgeable about a vast array of topics.
Eddie is survived by his wife and companion of many years, Sara Vozzella; one stepson, John Vozzella; one sister, Linda (David) Douchette; one brother, Jimmy (Eileen) Vozzella; and one nephew, Jimmy (Coleen) Vozzella. Also surviving are two brothers-in-law, Mark (Amber Brown) Boulan and Dan (Kathy) Ross; one dear sister to both Eddie and Sara, Amanda Burris; and Eddie’s best friend for 42 years, Bruno Choueiri.
Celebration of Life services will be held in the future in Massachusetts and will be announced prior to the service.
