Ellen Moore Clark, 84, of Mooresville, N.C., went to be with her Lord on Sunday, March 17, 2024, at Mooresville Rehab and Nursing.
She was born on July 30, 1939, in Mooresville to the late Flate and Hattie Griffin Moore. Mrs. Clark was a retired cafeteria worker with the Mooresville School District. She was a member of First Wesleyan Church in Mooresville. She loved her family and spending time with them.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Rome Clark; an infant brother and sister; and brothers, Johnny Moore and Fred Moore.
She is survived by her children, Todd Clark and wife Penny, and Amy Martin and husband David; brothers, Jack Moore and Jimmy Moore; sister, Linda Earley; grandchildren, Megan Black and husband Tyler, and Andrew Martin and fiancée Molly Ensalaco; great granddaughters, Josie Ellen Black and baby Black on the way; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 20, from 1 to 2 p.m. with a service following at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Cavin-Cook Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Haithcock officiating. Burial will follow the service at Glenwood Memorial Park.
