Evelyn Hildebrand Spencer, 84, of Troutman, N.C., passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at Novant Health Presbyterian in Charlotte, N.C. Born January 5, 2024, in Maiden, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Carl and Nova Sherrill Hildebrand. Mrs. Spencer was a retired machine operator.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her children, Adrian Spencer Sr. and Shirley Howard; and siblings, Fannie Mayhew, Pauline Smith and Timmy Hildebrand.

Mrs. Spencer is survived by her children, Robert Spencer Jr. and Phillip Spencer (Theresa); grandchildren, Adrian, Richard, Scott, Terry, Tabitha and Michael; seven great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association-Western Carolina Chapter, 4600 Park Road, Suite 250, Charlotte, NC 28209.
