Flora Ann Gaither Jordan, 83, of Statesville, N.C., passed away peacefully on Friday, June 7, 2024. She was the daughter of the late Roy A. Gaither Sr. and Mary Templeton Gaither.
Flora was a graduate of Harmony High School, Class of 1959, and Statesville Business College with a degree in business. After obtaining her Real Estate License, she acquired Webb Realty Company, dealing in property management for numerous years. She was a long-time member of Covenant A.R.P. Church where she held different positions as well as Covenant Child Care Center, Statesville Landlord Association, Woodmen Life, and Board of Elections. She was a volunteer at Davis Regional Medical Center (Sunshine Girls) until a decline in health prevented her from actively participating.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eddie “Lamar” Jordan; brothers, Roy A. Gaither Jr. and Bradley S. Gaither; sister, Mary “Frances” Rupard; son, Brian K. Jordan; great granddaughter, Alaura Rice; sister-in-law, Carolyn T. Jordan; and brother-in-law, Gene R. Jordan.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Marie S. Jordan (Travis); granddaughters, Alyssa Jordan, Bethany Kepley, Christina West (Matt), Kayla Jordan, and Krista Jordan; great grandchildren, Natalie Jordan, Serenity Rice, Jaxzen Calloway, Brian Young, and Ezekial, Aven, Tobias, Abrum, and Olin West; brother-in-law, G. Carroll Jordan; sisters-in-law, Lexine Jordan and Jane Gaither; and numerous other family members.
A funeral service in her honor will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Covenant A.R.P. Church with Pastor Jeff Richards officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Iredell County at 2347 Simonton Road, Statesville, NC 28625.
