Gerald Ray White, 76, of Statesville, N.C., passed away peacefully on November 18, 2024, at the Gordon Hospice House.

He was born in Alexander County, N.C., on September 14, 1948, to the late James Frank White and Mary Lee Steele White.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved great niece, Caitlyn Ann Yoder.

Those left to cherish the memory of Gerald include his wife of 21 years, Letha Anderson White; sister, Patsy Orander; nephew, Jerry Yoder (Jennifer); and great nephew, Chase Yoder.

Gerald graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a degree in business. He worked several years as sales manager for a car dealership. He loved buying and selling cars. His true passion was vintage/antique cars. He later went to work for AT&T in marketing and retired after 27 years of service. Gerald treasured the lifelong friendships he made working there.

At Gerald’s request, there will be no formal services at this time.
