Israel Lopez Aquilar, 53, passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at his home surrounded by family. He was born in Mexico on September 9, 1970, and was the son of Victor Lopez Ramon and Maria Aquilar Arzate. He was married to Ignacia Flores Hernadez, who survives.

Graveside services will be conducted Sunday morning, September 8, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Oakwood Cemetery in Statesville, N.C. The family will assemble at the residence, 165 Dogwood Estate Circle, Statesville, N.C., at other times. The family will gather at the residence on Friday at 6 p.m. until Sunday morning at 10 a.m.
