Jacob “Pinky” Paciano Pinkerton, 23, of Mount Ulla, N.C., passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2024. He was born on December 22, 2001, in Pennsylvania to Daniel Paul Pinkerton and Wilma Calamba Cubillan Pinkerton.

Jacob was a graduate of Mooresville High School, Class of 2019, and a member of West Corinth Baptist Church. He worked with his family at Pinkerton Plumbing and was a skilled plumber and member of Skills USA. Jacob loved working on trucks and installing lights for his friends. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, four-wheeling, motorcycles, and his K9 buddies. Jacob was loved and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.

Jacob was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Paciano Cubillan Sr.; paternal grandparents, Harold and Ellen Pinkerton; uncles Felix Rico Cubillan, Paciano Cubillan Jr., and Harold James Pinkerton Jr.; and aunt, Martha Pinkerton.

In addition to his parents, those left to cherish Jacob’s memory are his sister, Danica Louise Pinkerton; maternal grandmother, Amancia Cubillan; uncles, Joy Cubillan, Ramil Cubillan, Jojit Cubillan, Tremy Cubillan, Arnil Cubillan, and Stephen Pinkerton; and aunts, Esther Warren and Susan Carl. Also surviving are numerous cousins and extended family members.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, December 30, 2024, at West Corinth Baptist Church, Mooresville, with Rev. Robert Suttles officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
