Jane Marie Setterington, 65, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away with family by her side on Saturday, April 6, 2024, due to respiratory illness.

She was born on April 2, 1959, in Michigan to the late Elmer and Patsy Simko. Jane loved gardening, crafts, motorsports, and decorating for holidays, especially Christmas. Most of all, Jane loved spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her father and mother in-law, Don and Evelyn Setterington; two sisters-in-law, Diane and Norma Setterington; brother-in-law, Brian Setterington; and her fur babies, Stinky, Sally, and Suki.

She is survived by her husband, Wayne Setterington Sr.; son, Wayne Setterington Jr. and partner Kelly Guerrero; daughter, Melisa Hier and husband Chad; daughter, Nichole Setterington and partner Taylor Hearne; son, Todd Setterington and wife Renee; son, Adolfo Gustavo; son, Craig Setterington and wife Cheryl; brothers, David Simko, Tom Simko, and Greg Setterington; sisters, Sue Giroux and husband Al, Patty Schacht and husband Bob, Linda Caraway, and Dina Howe and husband Chas; grandchildren, Rachel Verrelli, Kylie Setterington, Madison Setterington, Ryder Hearne and Serena Hearne; her favorite niece, Aimee Cox; and numerous nephews, nieces, and friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday, April 12, from 1 to 2 p.m. with a service following at 2 p.m. at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home.
