Jennie Comer, 77, of Asheboro, N.C., passed away June 30, 2024, after a brief illness at Randolph Hospice House. She was born March 1, 1947, to the late Edward Dean Little and Flossie Warren Little.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William Davis Comer and one brother, Joe Little.

Survivors include one daughter, Melody Hamlet of Winston Salem, N.C.; three grandchildren, Matthew Davis Hamlet of Durham, N.C., Natalie Rebecca Hamlet Griffith and husband Clay of Kailua, Hawaii, and Thomas Edward Hamlet of Raleigh, N.C.; and one great-grandchild, Kaisen Stone Griffith.

There will be a graveside service on Sunday, July 21, 2024, at 10 a.m. at Stony Point Baptist Church Cemetery. Pastor Brian Hayes will officiate. There will be no formal visitation.

Memorials may be given to Randolph Hospice House. The family would like to give a special thank you to Randolph Hospice House, 416 Vision Drive, Asheboro, NC 27203.
