Jeremiah Lee Grady, nine-month-old son of Lester Lee Grady Jr. and Kelsi Jones Grady, was born at Catawba Valley Medical Center in Hickory, N.C., on July 17, 2024. He departed this life on Sunday, September 15, 2024, at Atrium Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, N.C.

He leaves to cherish the memory of his life, in addition to his father and mother, his grandparents, Lester Lee Grady Sr., Nina Wilson, Cynthia Smith, Reginald Jones and Calvin Hill; his aunts and uncles, Kevin Holder, Kasey Smith, Amanda Wilson and Sandra Grady; and a host of other relatives.

Celebration of Life Services will be conducted Thursday, September 19, 2024, at The Mary B. Bigham Memorial Chapel of Rutledge and Bigham Funeral Home. Reverend Dale Gibson will officiate and Apostle Kenneth Odom will offer Words of Comfort.

Members of the family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:30 until 2 p.m., but will assemble at the residence of his grandfather, Lester Grady, 361 Massey Deal Road, Statesville, at other times.
