Jerry Ray Triplett, 70, of Statesville, N.C., passed away Friday, July 5, 2024, after an extended illness at his home. He was born November 16, 1953, in Summers County, W.Va., to the late John Triplett and Nannie Josephine Triplett.

He enjoyed coon dogs, rabbit beagles and the farm. He also enjoyed his special pets, Spunky, Lucky and Charlie.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Debbie Anderson Triplett of the home; and one son, Jeff Triplett (Amber) of Statesville.

A graveside service will be held Sunday, July 7, 2024, at 2 p.m. at Faith Baptist Church Cemetery. There will be no formal visitation. Memorials may be given to St. Jude’s Children Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
