John “Jack” Harris Quarterman, 59, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2024. He was born on October 6, 1964, in Norfolk, Va., to the late John Maye Quarterman and Frances Ann Robinson Davis.

Jack was a graduate of Cox High School in Virginia Beach, Va., and Elon University, where he was the president of the TKE fraternity. He was the proud owner of Auto Lube for over 20 years until 2020, and enjoyed Led Zeppelin, Van Halen, downhill skiing, boating, the Dolphins, and Auburn. Jack loved his family and will be greatly missed.

Those left to cherish Jack’s memory are his nieces, Chelsea Allen and Shelby Wilmer (Cameron); nephew, Case Allen; stepson, Patrick O’Brien; brother-in-law, Ford Allen; last love, Michelle Bradbury; and fur babies, Kramer, Gibson, and Ruff.
