Johnny Stewart, 53, of Statesville, N.C., passed away Thursday, October 17, 2024, surrounded by loved ones at his home following an extended illness. Johnny was born in Forsyth County, N.C., on April 28, 1971, to Craig Dean Stewart and the late Teresa Ann Holbrook.

He was a self-employed painter and a member of Love Valley Presbyterian Church.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by one brother, James; his maternal grandmother, and his paternal grandparents.

Survivors include his wife, Crystal Stewart, of the home; one brother, Kevin Bert, and his wife Sabrina; one sister, Ashley Amburgy; and two nephews.

Funeral services are incomplete at this time.
