Joseph Dominic Woods, 24, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away at his home on Monday, February 5, 2024.

He was born on November 17, 1999, in Iredell County, N.C., to Leahanne Woods and the late Michael Rambin. Joseph loved cultures of the world, History, and Geography. He studied many languages and was fluent in Spanish and partially in French, having been mostly self-taught. He enjoyed spending time with his friends. He loved music and was passionate about cooking and trying new foods.

He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Rambin; and his paternal grandparents.

Joseph is survived by his mother, Leahanne Woods; maternal grandparents, Richard and Suzanne Woods; half-brothers, Owen Smith and Michael Rambin; and stepfather, Rodney Smith.

A Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 17, at Centre Presbyterian Church with Rev. Logan Keck officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.
