Joseph Driesse, 78, of Stony Point, N.C., passed away September 12, 2024, at Gordon Hospice House in Statesville, N.C., following an extended illness. Joe was born November 23, 1945, in Bergen County, N.J., to the late John Driesse and Louise Mae Holt Driesse.

He worked for the union and was a member of Stony Point ARP.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Woodward Driesse.

There will be no service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Paws of Honor (P.O. Box 1873 Merrifield VA, 22116), Guiding Eyes for the Blind, American Cancer Society, National Pro-Life Alliance (5211 Port Royal Road, Suite 500 Springfield, VA 22151), Disabled Veterans National Foundation or Macular Degeneration Research.
