Judy Wait White, 85, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Friday, February 9, 2024, at S. Mitchell Mack Hospice House in Mooresville. She was born on September 29, 1938, in Hayti, S.D., to the late Clarence Walter Wait and Nadine Rodimaker Wait.

Judy was a woman of faith, an accomplished educator and appreciator of the fine arts. She worked for over 44 years serving the communities she lived in and loved, Judy truly made the world a better place.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles Taylor White.

Those left to cherish Judy’s memory are her sons, Jon C. White and wife Jennifer, and Joel T. White and wife Tanya; sisters, Jolyn C. West, and Jill J. Wait; and grandchildren, Arai, Taylor, and Sam.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church, Sturgis SD and S. Mitchell Mack Hospice House, Mooresville, N.C.
