Katherine Courtney Brackett Wolfe, 42, of Statesville, N.C., passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at home following an extended illness. Courtney was born in Mecklenburg County on August 19, 1982, to the late Joseph Marion Brackett and LeAnne Borthen Brackett of Catawba, N.C.

She was a member of Bright Light Baptist Church and worked as a School Counselor with Iredell-Statesville Schools. She loved spending time outdoors with her sons. She was their biggest supporter at the baseball field.

Survivors include her husband of 12 years, Justin Wolfe, of the home; two sons, J.J. and L.J., of the home; two brothers, Jody Brackett and wife Michelle of Conover and Cody Brackett and wife Tara of Claremont; one sister, Carla Land, and her husband Brad of Waxhaw.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at 6 p.m. at Bright Light Baptist Church. Pastor Jayson Fox and Pastor Jason Whitley will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior from 5 to 6 p.m. at the church.
