Lana Renee Cornett, 54, of Olin, N.C., passed away on Monday, November 18, 2024, at the Gordon Hospice House in Statesville, N.C. She was born March 5, 1970, in Baltimore, Md., the daughter of Fred Barnett and Wanda Hampton Barnett.

Lana had worked as a 911 Operator in Ervin County, Tenn. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed horseback riding, kayaking, and flea markets.

In addition to her parents, those left to cherish and honor her memories include her husband, Derrick “Duck” Cornett of the home; his daughter, Chelsea English (Zach) of Tennessee; her sons, Jordan Hahn and Logan Hahn, both of Tennessee; her sister, Paula of Tennessee; two grandchildren; and her best friend, Jackie.
