Lewis Joseph Peticca, 86, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Thursday, April 4, 2024, at Novant Health Huntersville Medical Center. He was born March 3, 1938, in Greensburg, Pa., to the late Harry John Peticca and Mary J. Petrillo Peticca.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, James Peticca.

Lewis was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed playing blackjack and was a huge Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Lewis had an extremely successful career of 39 years at American General Life Insurance.

He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Patricia Hensell Peticca; sons, Jeff Peticca
(Christine), Tim Peticca (Rosanne), and Chris Peticca (Karen); sister, Bonnie Chellman; and grandchildren, Austin, Gabrielle, Angelina, Nicholas, Julia, Cole, and Santo.

A Mass will be held on Friday, April 12, 2024, at 11 a.m. at St. Therese Catholic Church.
