Linda Dellinger Dishman, 79, of Statesville, N.C., passed away August 30, 2024, at Valley Nursing Center following a brief illness. She was born November 29, 1944, in Iredell County to the late Clyde Dellinger and Ora Beaver Dellinger.

She was a member of Sandy Ridge Methodist Church. She loved and enjoyed her granddaughter Josie, going to the beach, and her dog Misty.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Wayne Dishman Sr., and three sisters.

Survivors include one son, Johnny Wayne Dishman Jr., and his wife Rhonda of Statesville; and one granddaughter, Josie Dishman.

Services will be announced at a later time.

Memorials may be given to Alexander Hospice, 50 Lucy Echerd Lane, Taylorsville NC 28681 and Valley Nursing Center, 561 NC-16, Taylorsville, NC 28681.
