Lisa Brantley Onley, 67, of Statesville, N.C., passed away, Saturday, December 28, 2024, at the Gordon Hospice House.
She was born in Union County, N.C., on March 14, 1957, to the late Charles Lee “Chuck” Brantley Sr. and Shirley Ann “Mickey” Dowd Brantley.
She was a graduate of Statesville High School, Class of 1976, and attended Durham Technical School followed by a 30-year career as a Dental Tech working with her father in Brantley Dental Lab. In 1993 she was married to Kenneth “Ken” Ray Onley, who survives.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Charles “Chad” Brantley and his wife Jessica; an infant brother, Daniel Brantley; and an infant sister, Judith Ann Brantley.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Kenneth Onley; one son, Andrew Charles Onley (Katelyn); sisters, Terry Kindley (Ken), Alice Harwell (Terry), Peggy Bolens, Andrea Faw Faust (Stephen), and Laura Haneline (Brandon); brother, John Brantley; sister-in-law, Deborah Bennett (Robert); brothers-in-law, Michael Onley (Beth) and David Onley (Carrie); mother-in-law, Sylvia Onley; and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will visit with friends from 5 to 7 p.m. at Troutman Funeral Home on Thursday, January 2, 2025. A service of Christian burial will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 3, 2025, at Iredell Memorial Gardens, officiated by Deacon Matt Reilly.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Gordon Hospice House, 2347 Simonton Road, Statesville, NC 28625.
