Louis Franklin “Frankie” Williams III, 68, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2024, at Novant Health Huntersville Medical Center. He was born on January 13, 1956, in Mooresville to the late Louis Franklin Williams Jr. and Phyllis Marzela Williams.

Frankie was a 1974 graduate of Mooresville High School. He was retired from Foamex Manufacturing after over 20 years of service. He always worked hard and took care of his family.

Frankie is survived by his wife of 42 years, Teresa Stewart Williams; sons, Louis F. Williams IV, John T. Williams (Amanda); sisters, Evia Sloop (Sonny), Elaine Lowery, Laura Neely (Ronnie), Virginia “Ginny” Wingate (Charlie), and Dorcas Krug (Kevin); brother, David Williams; brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Mary Stewart; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 3, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home.
