Marion Small Miller, 77, passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, in Winston-Salem, N.C. She was born on February 3, 1947, in Hanover, Pa., to Bernard Edward Small Sr. and Louise Wagoner Small. She was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her son, Bernard Edward Miller.
She is survived by her sons, Thomas Fredrick Miller (Renee) of Statesville, Scott Lee Miller Jr. (Edwina) of Surfside Beach, S.C., Michael Joseph Miller of Statesville, Terry Alan Miller (April) of Sheridan, Mont., Brian Thomas Miller of Statesville, and John Michael Miller (Amanda) of Statesville; daughters, Bernadette Marie Meissner (Karl) of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Theresa Miller Williams (Alan) of Statesville; 27 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and brother, Bernard Edward Small Jr.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2024, from 1 until 2 p.m. in Adams Hall at First Baptist Church in Statesville. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. Pastor Nelson Granade will officiate. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery with military honors.
