Mary Beth Fitch Campbell, a cherished soul known for her quiet demeanor and artistic talents, passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, surrounded by love. Throughout her life, Beth was a devoted wife to her best friend and spouse, Don, sharing a love that began in their youth at Corpus Christi North Beach Baptist Church. Together, they reimagined their home, creating a space filled with love, laughter, and warmth.

Her legacy as a dedicated mother and grandmother shone brightly through her close-knit family. Rooted in her ancestry, Beth delved into her genealogy, tracing her lineage back to descendants of the Mayflower and a resilient great-grandfather who braved the journey from Hanover, Germany, to Texas.

The bonds forged with her family were a testament to Beth’s values of love, connection, and shared memories. She leaves behind her children, Donald Jr., Jeffery, Crystal, and April, along with cherished grandchildren, Sarah, Conner, Hannah, Jonathan, Alyssa, Jacob, Emma, Alaina and Liam, and great granddaughter, Rose, who brought immense joy to her life. She is also survived by her sister, Jeanette; brothers, James (Jim) and Jerry and numerous nieces and nephews.

Beth was preceded in death by her parents, Prosper Fitch and Gladys Johnson; grandson, Joshua; brother, Richard (Ricky); and sons-in-law, Michael Longson and Charles Breaux.

As we prepare to bid farewell to Beth, we fondly remember her laughter, generosity, and unwavering love. In the days ahead, a service in memory and celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at 1:30 p.m. at Glenwood Memorial Park in Mooresville. The ceremony will be officiated by Landon Horton, a tribute to a life well-lived and a soul deeply loved.

In honoring Beth’s memory, we treasure the moments shared, the stories told, and the love woven into every corner of her life. May her spirit find peace and her memory endure in our hearts forever.
