Mary “Nell” Mitchum, 87, of Harmony, N.C., died Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at the Gordon Hospice House in Statesville, N.C.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, September 29, 2024, at 3 p.m. at Mt. Sinai Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. Rick Stackhouse officiating. The family will greet friends from 2 to 3 p.m. prior to the service.
