Michael Thomas Davis, born on April 15, 1940, in Reidsville, N.C., passed away peacefully on May 26, 2024, with his daughter and son-in-law by his side. He was a man of many passions and talents, known for his love of music, particularly showcased through his drumming skills which he honed during his younger years in a local band.

Following his graduation from Reidsville High School in 1958, Michael pursued a career in sales within the bread manufacturing industry, ultimately finding fulfillment at Merita Bread. Residing in Daytona Beach, Fla., he dedicated numerous years to the company, retiring as a store manager before relocating to Mooresville, N.C., in 2020 to be closer to his daughter, Sharon, and her family.

Michael was a devoted family man, cherishing his relationships with his son, Eddie, daughter Sharon, grandchildren Mikyla and Scott Jr., and his son-in-law, Scott. His warm and loving presence will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the Hospice nurses, physicians, and staff, as well as his church community and friends for their unwavering support during his final days. Michael’s legacy of kindness and love will continue to live on in the hearts of those he touched.
