Michelle Lea White, 50, of Taylorsville, N.C., passed away peacefully at Gateway Nursing Home in Lenoir, N.C., on Sunday, December 1, 2024. She was born on October 5, 1974, in Lincoln County, W.Va., to Jerry White and the late Cathy Salmons Meadows.

Michelle had a love of West Virginia Mountaineer football, teddy bears, hair, makeup, and music. She had a ton of family and friends who she loved very much.

In addition to her mother, Cathy Meadows, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Griffith.

Those left to cherish and honor her memories include her father, Jerry White (Angie Cooper) of Branchland, W.Va.; her daughters, Brooke Griffith (Aaron Cooper) and Brianna Brookshire (Scott), all of Taylorsville; her son, Brandon Messer (Brianna Rowe) of Taylorsville; her grandchildren, Trent, Tate, and Dallas Cooper, Tucker and Kinsleigh Brookshire, and Lukas and Raelyn Messer; her siblings, Jerry White Jr., Jenny White-Ferrell (Adam), and Anne White, all of West Virginia; her nieces, Skyla and Macie; her nephews, Cory, Tanner, and Mason; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
