Mildred Ann Sutton Jones of Troutman, N.C., passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2024. Born in Bryson City, N.C., along with 10 siblings, Mildred was the daughter of the late Adam and Elvira Sutton.

She was the wife of Kenneth Venston Jones, who survives. She attended Bright Light Baptist Church and Houston Road Baptist Church. Mildred was a kind-natured lady who loved her family, and she enjoyed flowers and gardening.

Mildred is also survived by her son, Randy Jones (Deloris) of Statesville; granddaughter, Savannah Jones; step grandchildren, Ashley Myers and Zachary Calhoun; and great grandchildren, Addilyn, Olivia, and Abygale.

There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.
