Mohanbhai Sanghani, 87, of Wilkesboro, N.C., peacefully went to be with our Lord on Monday, March 11, 2024, at home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born May 17, 1936, in Bhadiyad, Gujarat, India, Son of the late Gopalbhai and Samratma. He relished time spent entertaining family and friends, always cooking more than enough delicious food. He enjoyed walking long walks and talking with friends and family.

Mohanbhai had a vast appreciation for nature. His favorite place to be was his home in North Carolina. Early to rise, he would wake up to find his way to the front porch with a cup of tea to watch the sun rise and at sunset.

Most important to him was his family, and he will forever be remembered as a loving and devoted father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at the Heritage House of Cavin-Cook Funeral Home & Crematory, 494 East Plaza Drive, Mooresville, NC 28115.
