Noah Landon “Snowball” Campbell, 88, of Moravian Falls, N.C., passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2024, at The Greens of Hickory. He was born June 4, 1936, in Alexander County, the son of the late Noah Melvin Campbell and Francis Kerley Campbell.
He was a self-employed carpenter and a member of Bethel Baptist Church. He was happiest at family gatherings especially if he was hosting. He enjoyed showing off his beloved State of North Carolina to everyone.
Including his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Elizabeth Hanson Campbell; son, Michael Campbell; six sisters; and five brothers.
Those left to cherish and honor his memories include his son, Christopher Campbell (Amanda) of Minnesota; his sister, Margie Swiggett of Mooresville; his grandchildren, Alicia Swanson (Nick), Patrick Campbell (Breanna), Brandon Campbell (Emily), Breanna Hucks (fiancé, Dylan Fairchild), Heidi Fox, Jacob Campbell, and Matthew Dillon Campbell (fiancée, Kolbi Camp); his great-grandchildren, Gwynevere, Stuart, Milo, Oliver, Kason, Karrigan, Colten, Courtlynn, Nolan, Haagen, and Meadow; and numerous, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at Bethel Baptist Church. Pastor Taylor Miller will officiate. The family will receive friends from 2 until 3 p.m. prior to the service.
