Patsy Thompson Wilson, 67, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2024. She was born on June 8, 1956, in Mecklenburg County, N.C., to the late Lorenzo and Annie Hicks Thompson.

Patsy attended Mooresville Church of God. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren. Patsy will be greatly missed.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Wilson; and her siblings, Janice Thrower, Lois Dellinger, Willard Thompson, Gloria Thompson, and Junior Thompson.

Those left to cherish Patsy’s memory are her children, Kathy Pressley (Jason Burton), Candy Michelle Hardwick (Tim Hardwick), and Christy Sanders (Randy Sanders); sisters, Diane Thompson and Kathy Martinez (Art); brother, Ricky Thompson (Rita); nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Monday, March 25, 2024, at the chapel of Cavin-Cook Funeral Home with Chaplain Russell Files officiating. Burial will follow the service at Glenwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
