Patty Gayle Goodson Lambert, 84, of Hiddenite, N.C., passed away May 27, 2024, at home after an extended illness. Patty was born October 28, 1939, in Alamance County to the late Bill Goodson and Hazel Overcash Goodson.

She worked in healthcare and was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Sharon Goodson.

Survivors include her husband of 66 years, Daniel Leroy Lambert of the home; two daughters, Cynthia Lambert of Hiddenite and Connie Lambert Durham and husband Jeff of Fayetteville Ga.; two brothers, Billy Goodson and wife Reba of Kansas, anf Hollis Goodson and wife Laura of Stony Point; three grandchildren, Jeremey Durham and wife Amanda, Melissa Durham Burke and husband Michael, and Joshua Durham and wife Justine Lee; and thirteen great grandchildren.

Services will be announced at a later date.
