Phillip Alfred Lee Chambers, 71, passed away on December 19, 2023, in Statesville, N.C. He was born on September 4, 1952, in Iredell County, N.C., to Frank Feimster and Gloria Chambers.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his son, Derera Chambers.

Phillip is survived by his children, Phillip Tucker (Bethany) of China Grove, N.C., Phyllis Renee Scott of Wilmington, Del., Kenyana Chambers of Fayetteville, N.C., and Azariah Chambers of Statesville, N.C.; stepson, Andre James (Josephine) Philadelphia, Pa., and step daughters, Alicea Patterson (Nickolus) of Charlotte, N.C., and Taylor James of Charlotte, N.C.; six grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and sisters, Drucilla Summers of Statesville, N.C., and Tawana Williams (Frank) of Statesville, N.C.

Phillip graduated from North Rowan High School and also attended Mitchell Community College. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of True Vine Worship Center in Statesville, N.C.
