Ralph Paul Brockwell, 83, of Statesville, N.C., passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2024, at Atrium Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.

Ralph was born on April 22, 1940, in Greene County, Tenn., to the late John H. Brockwell and Bonnie Brockwell. He was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. Ralph enjoyed spending time with his family, his dog and doing handyman work.

In addition to his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by his grandson, Dustin Turner, and twelve siblings.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of fifty-three years, Mary Ann Fields Brockwell; daughter, Lisa Ober (David); grandson, Dylan Turner (Amanda Holland); and his sister, Bonnie Juanita Eaton. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, Bobo.

A visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, January 24, at Troutman Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. with burial to follow at St. Michael’s Cemetery with Rev. John Parks officiating.
