Mr. Robert Junior Simpson, 69, of 501 Mulberry Street, Statesville, N.C. passed away at Novant Health in Charlotte, N.C., on February 16, 2024. He was born in Iredell County on June 11, 1954, and was the son of the late Robie Conner and Mary Ethel Simpson.

He was married to Terry Wilson Simpson, who survives. He attended Morningside High School and The United House of Prayer for All People. He was a Carolina Panthers Fan.

He leaves to remember and celebrate his life, in addition to his wife, Terry Wilson Simpson, two sons, Robert Parson and David Simpson, both of Statesville; one daughter, Jennifer Parson of Statesville; step daughter, Charita Simpson; grandchildren, Shakeia Parson, Courtney Parson, and Tamara Parson; great grandchildren, Qvebun Manvel, Samoriah Parson, Nevaeh Parson and Sariah Parson; many cousins, other relatives, church family and friends.
