Mr. Robert Lee Barber, 60, of 364 Medlin Street, Statesville, North Carolina, was born in Iredell County on February 13, 1963, and was the son of the late Charles Lesley Barber and Catherine Jones Barber. He passed away on Monday, January 22, 2024.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a siser, Sylvia Diane Smith.

Mr. Barber attended Alexander County Schools and at one time attended Greater New Mt. Olive Holiness Church.

He leaves to cherish the memory of his life his brothers, Richard Jones and Perry Price, both of Statesville and Johnny Luckey of Salisbury; two sisters, Barbara (Leon) Smith of Gainesville, and Florida and Shirley Louise Barber of Statesville; a brother-in-law, Bernard Smith of Statesville; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
