Savannah Grace Cooper was born on October 8, 2024, and lived on this earth for 40 beautiful days when God called her home on November 17, 2024.

She was diagnosed in utero with Trisomy 18, a life-limiting diagnosis. Abortion was pushed, but her mother and father ultimately chose life for her, and she lived 40 beautiful days filled with love.

Savannah passed surrounded by her mother, Amanda Cooper, and father, Lee Cooper; her two brothers, TJ and Patrick Cooper; her aunts, Jenny and Amber Jennings; her grandma, Kim Hussey; her Nana, Lisa Lane; and her Great Grandpa, Thomas Wood. She will be missed by many. She was immediately welcomed into heaven by her grandpa, Jeff Hussey, and her Great Grandma, Sally Wood.

Savannah has brought so many people to prayer and to God. She showed so many that even in the face of a life-limiting genetic diagnosis that abortion is not the answer. Her 40 days mattered here on earth. She has touched so many lives and will continue to touch so many. She now sits up in heaven. Watching over us. Whispering our prayers into God’s ear.

The family will celebrate her life at a mass at St. Therese Catholic Church in Mooresville, N.C., on Monday, November 25, at 11 a.m. The mass is open to the public, and all are welcome to pray and enjoy mass with us.

Before I formed you in the womb I knew you,
And before you were born, I consecrated you;
I have appointed you a prophet to the nations.
– Jeremiah 1:5
