Her love extended even further as she became a great-grandmother to Alex, Kylo, and Cashleigh Jones, as well as sister Barbara Puckett of Statesville and Betty Yates of Statesville and brother Ronnie Duke of Lake Norman, N.C., along with several nephews and nieces. Her ex-husband James Moore, with whom she had her only child Jamie Lea Bunton, and her stepdaughter Jennifer Mosteller. Throughout her life, Sharon had two best friends who were like family to her Brenda, her childhood best friend, and Elda, Jamie’s godmother and close friend for over 40 years, were always there for her. Nicole, her close friend and caregiver, provided unwavering support and friendship through thick and thin.

One of Sharon’s most remarkable qualities was her ability to make everyone feel welcome. Her genuine warmth made strangers feel like old friends, and she always opened her home with open arms. Sharon’s passion for cooking delicious meals and creating a warm and inviting atmosphere made gatherings with friends and family truly memorable.

Sharon had an impeccable eye for detail and took great pride in maintaining a clean and beautifully decorated home. She had a talent for creating a space that was not only aesthetically pleasing but also comfortable and inviting, reflecting her unique style.
