Stephanie Reep Booker, 51, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away Thursday, February 1, 2024, at the Levine & Dickson Hospice House in Huntersville, N.C.

She was born on May 22, 1972, in Mecklenburg County, N.C., to Steve Reep and the late Gloria Boyles Reep. Stephanie received her bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Management Information Systems from UNC-Charlotte and then received her master’s degree in Management Information Systems from Colorado Technical University. She enjoyed reading, taking baths, video games, traveling, and spending time with her husband and family.

She is survived by her husband, John Booker; father, Steve Reep; children, Valen Booker (Zaid), Chris Booker, Lilly Booker, and Alysia LaVecchia (John); sisters, Renee Funderburk and Christina Cubillo; brother, Adam Reep; father-in-law, John Booker Sr.; mother-in-law, June Booker; special niece, Kali Hogan; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 9, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a service following at 1 p.m. at the chapel of Cavin-Cook Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Burner officiating. Burial will follow the service at Rocky Mount Church in Mooresville.
