Steve Alan Conder, 73, of Seven Devils, N.C., and formerly of Sorrento, Fla, passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2024, at the S. Mitchell Mack Hospice House in Mooresville, N.C.

He was born on September 17, 1951, to Gussie Eloise Conder and Jerry Wiley Conder Sr.

Steve enjoyed life — golfing, boating, fishing, snow and water sports, and with that Conder “green thumb” gardening, as he had plants blooming year-round.

Steve was predeceased by his mother, Gussie Eloise Conder.

He is survived by his longtime companion and best friend, Charlotte Russell; father, Jerry Wiley Conder, Sr.; three children, Shelli Dimmer (Gregory), Katie Melendez Conder (Joey) and Bucky Conder, along with five grandchildren, brothers, Jerry Wile Jr. (Deborah), David Lee Conder (Cecelia), and Christopher Mark Conder( Donna).

Steve was loved by many. He will be missed, but never forgotten.
