Tyrrell Kenyon Mayhew, 35, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Friday, March 1, 2024, at his home. He was born on January 21, 1989, in Iredell County, N.C., to Loretta D. Mayhew and the late Charles A. Conner.

Tyrrell attended Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church in Mooresville. He enjoyed gaming, and walking his K9 companion, Sheba. He loved his family and spending time with his “Sweedy,” Melissa Ann.

In addition to his dad, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, James M. Hooper.

Those left to cherish Tyrrell’s memory include his son, Izaiah Raymer; brother, Quanterius M. Hooper; grandparents, Ronald Mayhew and wife Mary, and Joe Mercer; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Gavin Gabriel officiating.
